Only one way to find out! ;)

P.S. I guess it's not Baron.

Maybe it's something like "King's eunuch" ;)

LOL, congrats - your grace. Muhaha, I'm the sole Marquess now.... ;)

Hmm I wonder if they go Royal Duke or Prince next after Duke... or keeper of the royal harem? Time will tell. :D

Yeah, well didn't we determine that a Marquess was a girl?

:)

Nah, its a male title between Earl (Count) and Duke. A female marquess is called a marchinoness (I did have to look up the spelling).

Bascially, according to Wiki it was a Border Count who had some extra powers because he was defending the border.

Isn't it Marquis and Marchioness?

Yes, yes.

Obviously as a Duke I don't may much attention to those beneath me!

:)

Marquis is the french spelling, I believe.

That's what I was counting on. Doesn't cramp my style. :bandit:

However in the interest of blue blooded solidarity I feel I should mention it’s always the highest ranking noble who is assassinated - especially those who don't pay attention to the peons. :) You might want to double the size of your ducal bodyguards, your grace.

I was just looking at the Swashbuckler DVD last night to get in the mood for running a Pirates game and low and behold the "loyal" subjects were revolting against their Lord Governor. :rv:

All things considered, I believe that explains much on how he got to 2000 posts. :)
