Dragging NPCs from Encounter to the Combat Tracker loses image

Why do the images go away when I drag a unit from the Encounter tab to the Combat Tracker? I am using Rolemaster Classic.

If you drag an NPC link from the Encounter window to the combat tracker, it will use the token value associated with the NPC link, not the one from the tracker.

Encounters are meant to be set up and added directly to CT (using button on bottom of Encounter window or by dragging the Encounter record link), not by individual monster links.
