Hello, I was searching this and found a couple post on it, but they were from 2017 and I believe for classic. I was tried to follow their instructions but wasn't having success.

Is there a way to give sight and movement of tokens/NPCs to PCs if so could give me the instructions.

Thank you

The instructions are pretty much the same.

Share the NPC sheet with the PC (drag the NPC to the Character icon in the upper left corner).

The major difference between Classic and Unity, is that you have to enable 'party vision and movement' so that the player(s) can control the NPC.

It's under Options>Token>GM

This video is still relevant (even though it was recorded for Classic the process is the same for Unity). https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?43513-Video-Giving-player-control-of-an-NPC&p=387176#post387176 As Sulimo says the only caveat is that you need to turn on Party movement to allow players to move the NPC tokens (they can do everything else without turning Party movement on).

Another option, if you don't want to enable party vision and movement (as it does let all the players "see" everything all the other player's tokens can "see" eliminating some of the line-of-sight map discovery), you can use an extension like "Friend Zone" (for D&D 5e) which allows you to assign NPCs to character sheets, and then the player that controls that PC also inherits control of the NPCs on that character's sheet.

Friend Zone is on the Forge, and is free, but it only works with the 5e ruleset.

I've been tinkering with making a Pathfinder 1e version of the extension, but I am still waiting to hear back from the Friend Zone creator to make sure they don't mind.

Cheers,
Brian
