View Full Version : Party Tracker Parcels

In the Party Tracker Inventory tab and specifically in the Parcels area and GM sees all the items he has handed out that are not yet claimed. My party just collects things and at lull points they sit and comb through everything that has yet to be identified and does their thing with dice rolls. Unfortunately, I as the DM, have my view of things which shows all the actual names of the items and the players just see the Non-ID names of things. This would be fine if there are only one or two items that show up as 'unidentified' or whatever the Non-ID name said. However, tonight they had over 15 items that showed up that way and I had no idea which one they wanted to make rolls against so there was a lot of back and forth and wasted time going through everything.
So, my question it this: Is there a way to add a column in the Parcels frame that also shows the text of Non-ID text that the players are seeing? If, not can this be added to a future build?

Outside of a change to the ruleset it would need an extension to add a column to the Party Sheet. I'll add it to my long list of something to look at in future - no promises as to when and if it will be done.

There's an extension on the Forge that at least tells you which items are ID'd or not in the Inventory overview without having to go into each of them. It's not quite what you're asking but I think it helps a lot with keeping the overview.

Montis, yup I have that one already and got it so I could at least see that was ID'd and it helped me to at least find ones in that state. Thanks though.

An extension...yikes. I will just need to be more diligent in what I put in the non-id name. Whatever else you can do is always appreciated though. Thanks Trenloe.

I didn't add a column because the inventory section is already pretty tight/small, but I added an option to show the GM the id/non-id name just like for players.

I had a look at this and there wasn't a way that I liked to add the non-identified column to the GM view in the Party Sheet Parcel Items list - the results were the description (name) or unidentified name were either too large or too small - and both the controls couldn't be dynamically resized if the Party Sheet was resized. So, all I did was add the ID button to the party sheet - which will control the identified state of an item and also show the item name (for identified) or the unidentified name in the party sheet - which is in the PFRPG2 ruleset release today.

Its all good Trenloe. BMOS really helped out with what he did so I can see the same unidentified name the players see in the list and since I was already using the extension he added it to it made it that much more convenient. It has really helped out a lot.
