I've created an NPC Trap and I can add it to the map but when I try to drag the token into an encounter, it does nothing. How do I get a trap to "sticky" to an encounter?

What ruleset? Please either make sure to specify the ruleset or ask questions in a ruleset specific forum.

In most rulesets, you will want to drag the NPC handle icon from the NPC list to the Encounter, and not from either the map or the CT. Remember, tokens are the children of NPCs, they are not the NPC object themselves.

I have the CT, Encounters, and the NPC-Trap opened. I can drag the NPC Handle into the CT but I can not drag it into the encounters. I have a Goblins in the Encounter and on the map and in the CT...that all words like it's supposed to. But when I drag an NPC-Trap into the encounter, it just drops it.

Make sure you've unlocked the Goblins encounter before you drag in the trap NPC. Maybe a screen shot or two will help us identify the issue if that isn't the answer.

OMG, I had the encounter locked. Sorry for the stupid question....sheesh.
