I was having an issue last night where I tried to connect and kept getting fatal errors and getting stuck on "Acquiring File List". Tried turning off firewall, running in admin mode, uninstalling/reinstalling, and DM even created a new empty game which I tried to join with the same result. The 3 other players had no issues joining either game.

Any assistance would be great. My DM isn't available right now to Troubleshoot.

MOD: moved this to its own post as it was not related to the post you had replied to. Please report issues in new treads unless exactly the same as the OP.
Please post your logs. Instructions on how to obtain them linked in my signature.

Hello, thanks for the assistance.
I believe I have the newest version, as I redownloaded it last night.
These are my logs.

mm, I'm not a network guru, but it looks like something on the network (i.e. outside of FG).
This is one of te sets of errors in the networ.log file;
[2022-02-03 10:02:36 AM] Noble Connect [2129435]: Socket can not send [::1]:55474 -> [2604:a880:400:d0::1e1f:7001]:55825
The requested address is not valid in its context.
(AddressNotAvailable - 10049)
[2022-02-03 10:02:36 AM] Noble Connect [2129455]: Sending BIND REQUEST [37f32ad468ce7c1f39e56285] from 127.0.0.1:55475 to 198.199.80.64:52475
[2022-02-03 10:02:36 AM] Noble Connect [2129455]: Socket can not send 127.0.0.1:55475 -> 198.199.80.64:52475
A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network.
(NetworkUnreachable - 10051)
And I'm not familiar with that one but I have some suspisions.
This one I know the devs have said is outside their control;
[2/3/2022 10:03:17 AM] Noble Connect [2170083]: Socket receive operation was interrupted, likely due to the socket being closed
And is usually due to security software on your PC or router security settings.

yeah, I'm not a network guru either, but that one kind of struck a chord. I haven't changed any router, or security settings since it last worked though.
Odd.
Edit: Tried my wife's laptop, and it works fine. So it's strict from my PC. I'll have to figure out what's going on.
Thanks.

Final update, I disabled ethernet and went wireless, as I've tried everything else.
Lo and behold, that worked... so who knows. I still can't connect to it via ethernet, not sure why.
Thanks again.

So something in the network adapter for your ethernet adapter or possible on your router if it has different settings for wireless and wired networks. No idea what setting it might be though. Glad you got a solution, game on!

Is the wireless connection showing as private but the ethernet connection showing as public? Or vice versa?

They are both private networks.
Edit: I uninstalled/reinstalled the ethernet adapter, with no change.
Edit2: Might have put my foot in mouth, it just worked. I'll try again.
Edit3: Guess that was it.
Resolved, for now, I guess. LoL.
Thanks.
