I'm currently hosting a cloud server game, and I'm trying to pull up a second client so I can 1) NPC one of my PCs who couldn't make it for the session and 2) declutter my GM screen by moving all the PC stuff over to another window. Last week I was able to do this and join by connecting to my cloud server game, however this week it's throwing a license key conflict at me every time I try to connect. Is there any way to work around this? Both the host GM client and the PC client are being run on the same machine.

Good Day ElectricalChaos :)
You can try opening the game on a LAN and use localhost. Or delete the shortcut at the top of the page and try to reconnect. I have had that issue in the past and those seemed to help. :)

You have to connect from the exact same machine and IP address in order to connect to yourself. I'm not sure if you're trying to connect from another machine, or possibly have multiple network interfaces in your machine.

Sometimes if you had opened and closed several instances and you somehow happened to be running the GM from an instance that wasnt the first instance that was loaded at the time it was loaded you get this message. Close both clients, take a deep breath, relaunch the GM instance and then relaunch the PC instance.

I've had this happen when 2 or more people are connecting at the same time and one drops or loses connection while connecting. Give the host a reboot, have people connect 1 by 1 and it should fix this issue.

If this is not your case, I can't help you, but I do know that I often connect to my own table on the same PC with no issues with keys.
