First iteration of this extension, which adds a button to the Encounters window. Select your party size and party level (it comes pre-populated by the party sheet entries), and your target Threat (i.e., Low, Moderate, Severe, etc). Click Generate New Encounter and you should have a new encounter ready for you.

The encounters uses any monsters you have loaded, including campaign custom entries. It also adds hazards. Sometimes encounters can fall a little bit out of the budget XP.

This is now available at the Forge. This extension goes well with the Encounter Builder Extension (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?72004-Encounter-Builder-Helper-Extension) and Weak/Elite Extension (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?72257-Weak-and-Elite-Generator-Extension)

Versioning

0.1 Initial release
0.2 Added trait filter and level range. Adds non-module npcs to the pool of monsters to select (i.e., campaign monsters).
0.3 Fixed bug for Encounters over level 5 introduced in 0.2.

Known issues:

* Currently only up to two unique monsters are added;
* NPCs (Monsters) and Hazards currently are not mixed;
* Right now the generator is very strict on similarities: I want to add more flexibility, like allowing one-step alignment differences to count as similar;

Edit: There is a (paid) new version of this extension in the Forge if you want to check out, including many other features: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?73170-PFRPG2-GM-Enhancement-extension

Thank you! I was trying to figure out how to create an extension like this myself. You are the man!

THANK YOU!

My players didn't end up having any random encounters last week, but they did this week, and this tool was super helpful!

Only bit of feedback is - I don't know if this would be easily possible, but it would be nice to have a button to quickly delete the encounter if desired? For when it takes a couple rolls to get a good encounter; would help avoid cluttering the encounter list.

Ah, that is a great suggestion, I'll try, thanks!
