Finally started using Story Templates, constant freeze and restart

I've been using FGU for years now, and have avoided templates but I have started to understand their usefulness and have caught on quickly, however, once every 10 clicks of the "generate" button causes Unity to freeze to a complete halt, which no amount of waiting will resolve, forcing me to restart and lose the last 5-10 minutes of work. There is zero lag when the stories are generated successfully, but when it does not, there is zero other outcome other than complete freeze up. Any recommendations from anyone that's been using these for much longer?

Sounds like you might have some kind of recursive error going on - like a table calling itself or some other infinite loop.

Agree with Mr. Z. There is something in one of your tables that is either recursive or invalid.

type /save in chat - dont press enter - and drag itr to a hot key.
Periodically press that to force FG to save at that time.
