Starting a small Dune campaign with a session zero on 16th Jan, when we will go through House and Character creation.
I already have three players, looking to add up to 2 or three more.
Campaign Type: One-shot (to start, possibly moving to Episodic)
Campaign Length: 4 to 6 session(s) to start (additional 4 to 6 session adventures if the majority wish to continue)
Game Frequency: Fortnightly (every two weeks) - Sunday 1pm to 4pm UK time
Primary Language: English
Camera Needed: No
Audio: Yes (headset recommended) - Discord (see campaign information)
Player Experience Level: Beginner or Experienced
GM Experience Level: High
GM Fantasy Grounds Knowledge: High
Roleplaying Level: Medium
Combat Level: Low to Medium

Game themes for Dune are Intrigue, Politics, and Conflict.
I'm thinking of setting the game in the time around or just after the Emperor announces that House Harkonnen will lose their 80 year governorship of Arrakis with House Atreides taking over in fief-complete. What will your House do in this time, during the Harkonnen withdrawal and the change to Atreides rule? The decisions made during this time could secure the prosperity of the House or establish enemies that will haunt its future.
While Arrakis will feature, possibly heavily based on the time period and your actions as players, I'd also like to visit some of the other worlds of the Imperium. In the end, I'll be using what you produce in Session 0 on the 16th Jan to prepare the scenarios going forward. In the end, all roads lead to Arrakis. Especially in this turbulent time.
