Hello there. We’re a group of (mostly) older fellows (50 is our rough average I think) who’ve been playing together for a few years. Due to life changes and people’s schedule’s changing, we are looking to pick up another 1 or 2 players. We have a fairly dedicated GM but he takes breaks now and again, during which I tend to pick up the slack. We are just starting a new game (a modified Deadlands/Weird West if that wasn’t obvious). We have done other genres (most notably post apoc of one form or another as well as some sci-fi/space adventure feel among a couple others as well) though. A given genre/campaign can last 6 months to a couple years depending on various factors.

Ideally, we are looking for a couple of mature gamers who are willing to commit for the long haul. (Long haul being years and multiple campaigns and all that.) While we goof about just like every other group of gamers out there, we are interested in people committing to a good roleplaying experience and enjoying the chars. Murder-hobos, dedicated min-maxers need not apply.

Obviously, given that we’ve been playing together for quite some time, we want people who will gel with our group dynamic first and foremost. Even if you aren’t a dedicated Deadlands/Weird West player (only 2 of us have any real experience with the more traditional Deadlands world anyway; and this isn’t traditional Deadlands regardless!), merging well with the group is what truly matters. We change genres enough (as previously stated) that eventually something new will likely come up for everyone’s enjoyment (we all chime in on options when one ends).

Please let us know if you’re interested. If so, the GM will likely invite you in to play for a while as we get all get a feel for each other's personalities and such. If it works out, great! If not, no harm. Some groups are not for everyone.

Best of luck and happy gaming!
