Hello

Just stumbled across this product and curious if it can be used / does anybody use it as an Addon for a local non-online game. I just started a D&D Campaign with some family and friends and we play on a weekly basis. As I am a tech geek I am always looking for online things to help me manager, run, and make the campaign a bit more interactive. Right now I have done some minor sharing of maps I have via my computer to large TV. Am Curious if this could be used to do something similar as well as track the combat and such.

Thanks

Yes, since FG is a client-server architecture, you can use it offline either as just the host or on a LAN. The only time you need an internet connection is upon validation of an ultimate license when free license clients connect to the ultimate license host.

There are also a few threads bouncing around the forum about people setting up in-person digital tabletops; but I don't have them saved off. You might be able to find through searching, or if one of the other forum users knows the links.

I used it for in-person games exclusively for a few years. It was only during COVID that my friends and I switched to remote play. FG does both very well.

I'd be happy to walk you through my in-person setup. Just hit me up with a DM and we can chat.
