New question about source material

I'm new to this program and I'm thinking of using it to host/gm a game and I'm wondering if I purchase the source material do all the participants in my game need to buy it too or is it shared from the host?

The DM can share out whatever material he/she wants to players when they connect. Players can access these DLC packages when connected to the DM (and only when connected to the DM).
