Urgent: How to delete 420 monster fast from combat tracker?

HI,

a gm has put up an encounter with 420 monster and now FGU CT is not reacting anymore- even deleting them all is not functioning- any idea how to proceed (of course it was a bad idea)?
It was generated per encounter and placed on a big map- but even with closed map, FGU is not reacting if you want to delete all monsters from CT.

You have to go to the campaign's database file (db.xml) and delete the list, which is everything under <list> </list> tags.
This will clean it up.

Best to

1. close FG
2. copy the db.xml to db.saveme
3. send the db.xml to a zip file
4. copy the db.xml to your OneDrive/Dropbox folder
5. open the db.xml in notepad++
6. locate the <combattracker> tag and delete it and everything down to and including </combattracker>
7. launch FG and hope you dont need your backups today!
