Hey there, I am running Descent into Avernus and we have been able to all play fine until recently. One of my players cannot join my campaign anymore and whenever he presses Join Campaign he is booted out the program and asked for his login info again. I own the Ultimate license and everyone including this one player is a Demo user and have been able to join fine until recently. I have had the player try to uninstall and reinstall but he cannot even find the program in Control Panel to uninstall. We have also looked into him having a forum account which he does. We are now stuck and not sure what else to try. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The programmed behavior in FGU launch screen does not exit nor block people from starting up without a login; and simply returns an error message to the center of the screen without exiting if you attempt to create/load/join a game.
Without seeing screen shots of the screen they are stuck on, it's hard to tell if they are stuck at the client, the updater or the installer.
Also I haven't heard of a scenario like the one you are describing. So, regardless of which piece is affected, it seems like something is potentially blocking writing to the registry and/or disk; perhaps some sort of security program installed on the user's machine, or perhaps modifying or quarantining the application.

Hello, I am the player that is having trouble with the client. So right now, whenever I put my login info it gives me access to the program. Then once I just press the "Join Campaign" button or any button for that matter, It just closes the program and prompts the login screen again. Sometimes it will say that there is "No license key saved" after I put in my login info but it doesn't prompt that all the time which is very odd.
I've saved some screenshots but they aren't very helpful. Screenshot 1 is me opening the program and putting in my login info, 2 is after logging in and right before I pressed Join Campaign, and 3 is just the login screen again since whenever I press the join campaign button it closed the program and showed the login window again.

Can you please provide the logs after you press the Join Campaign button, by clicking on the Troubleshoot tab and clicking the Gather Logs button?
Thanks,

I'd suspect something like anti virus or something on their router like flood protection or parental control. Make sure they have an exception in their AV and check the router settings.

Also, when providing the logs, please provide the full zip file created during the gather logs process. Seeing snippets of the logs doesn't really allow us to see the full details of what might have happened.
