Sidebar Button Order

Is there a way to change the order of the buttons on the sidebar? I would really rather they be in alphabetical order so I can find things more quickly. However, we really should be able to reorder them as we see fit.

Well, at least someone made an extension to sort them properly:

In the beta version currently in testing, they are already grouped by categories, then sorted in alphabetical order.

In the sidebar edit window, clear the current buttons then click the buttons in the order you want.
