How is the box divided in the combat tab, weapon damage?

On the combat tab, in the weapon damage, there is a box:

It has a place to drop the die for your weapon, and to the right, but in the same box, divided by a vertical line, is a space for the plus to damage.

How the heck is that done? I've copied the code nearly line for line from the weapon area to make a similar field in another area of the sheet, and while I can get the two boxes to join, the die is still centered across both boxes instead of centered in its own, and theres no vertical line.

Ok, no, not figuring this out. In the weapon frame on the combat tab, the damage die and damage plus are joined, and the 4 attacks are all joined, but I see NOTHING in the definitions that show that... is it inherited from somewhere? And if so, where?
