Looking for 5e - New to Fantasy Grounds

Hello,

I have just purchased Fantasy Grounds Unity and am looking forward to trying it out. I've purchased the standard edition but nothing beyond the initial license but from what I understand as long as the DM shares books and materials, that it's not an issue.

I am hoping to join a group and play some D&D 5e. I've played older versions on tabletop and have played 5e through Roll20 but would like to transition to this. Please add me to your game and we can share some fun.

Welcome to the forums! I would encourage you to check out the Fantasy Grounds Academy discord as well. Lot of folks on there that can help. They run games, classes, etc...

I'm going to start DMing a mini-campaign next Tuesday (Oct. 19th) at 4pm EST, in case you want to join us. I don't mind walking you through the process of character creation and setup and even explaining the basics of how to use Fantasy Grounds. As someone who migrated from Roll20 as well, the two are completely different, but after you get through the steep learning curve of FGU, I believe it's infinitely better.
