View Full Version : Can't use the ENTER key when typing out EFFECTS in a table

Greetings,

I'm working on making my own random table.
I have three columns; NAME EFFECT DURATION

Whenever I try to use the ENTER key in any of the columns it does not work.
To make entries in point form (one effect under the next) I have to use the SPACE key to get the words to drop to the next line.
Then, when I roll on the table the text appears all messed up in chat window.

Any thoughts?

Workaround: Enter the multi-line text in a text editor (outside of FG), copy text in the editor and then paste (CTRL+v) into the FG table cell.

Table areas seem to be one area that Shift-Enter doesn't work. You can type "\n" and it will move to the next line but the behavior is not the best. As much as I hate to use an outside editor I think Trenloe is right, this is the way.
