No change yet on
20+ rolls
or extra damage on NPC attacks
Ive adjusted the spells - is this enough room?
If so I might move Features to the right of spells and then i can make Spells longer...
Hmmm on re-reading maybe you didnt want this changed on PCs? only NPCs? which I havent touched yet...
Im reworking Boons/Banes.
Ive moved them into one field - this might not appeal to everyone...
Also when a player is logged in they will get a +/- modifier style box near the dice and mod box for adjusting their Boons/Banes
This is hidden for the GM because there is no way for the game to know what character the GM owns
On the Charsheet those arrows are double click... everything (as far as possible) is double click... cos thats how I prefer it...
That spell spawn thing is a bug... and I quashed it...

According to the rules, Demons, devils, spirits, and undead typically have Corruption scores equal to half their Will scores. Should I fill that value in automatically?

In general, content is locked. However, you can copy it by dragging and dropping. New copies can be unlocked and edited as needed. This way if you need to quickly modify the stats of a monster, you can do so.

So I thought I might try something new for me... creating story content in FG. In the past, I have either purchased pre-made content or just ran the game off of a hard copy in front of me. SotDL content is on sale so I picked some stuff up and thought maybe I should see if I can put this in FG. So having no idea what I was doing, I started poking around a bit, stumbled across the "Builder" button, and a few hours later...

However, two things.
1. That image is not sharable without sharing the page content as well. I could make an empty page with only an image.
2. LOL Of course I have ended up with a Reference Manual and not Story content. I guess I could pull a part the XML and try to fix it, but there has to be a better way. How do people create story content in FG? I know there used to be AUTHOR
which created story content (I think), but wasn't that replaced by BUILDER?

Story content is created in Story (in the xml its actually called encounter)
The Build is a brand new feature for building reference manuals within the app rather than externally (or using Author).
In your published refman you can click on the image - opening it in another window - and then share that window/record.

I sure can, but all that I was doing was clicking on the attack button on the NPC sheet, like I have done countless times before.

Lots of incremental updates going on to this ruleset.
If you are using it please provide any feedback.
You will need to make a small manual edit in the db.xml before your next session.
Close FG.
Locate the db.xml.
Right click and "send to compressed folder" to make a backup.
Open the db.xml in a text editor.
Search for all instances of remove any instances of:
<love
and delete
<love type="formattedtext">
<p />
</love>
Yours may have some text inbetween those tags - delete it all.

Just a quick note that I created a free audio trigger module with Celestian's Audio Overseer and released it on the forge. Basically I created the afflictions as effects (they are just notes, no automation yet) and tied audio triggers to them based on chat text. I also added in some combat sounds, turn start, challenge roll success/failures, etc.. I might create a spells module if I feel amibitious. I think I'll keep it separate as I know some folks feel its overkill to have sounds for a bunch of spells. If I do it I'll start slowly.

Hi, I've been trying to enter in Novice data but I'm not sure how to fill in the tabs for all the fields. Some of the stuff is intuitive, but other things not so much.. For Example: 5225752258 Is this section done or am I'm roving too far ahead?

You will want to first set up those up as features in the features tab. Then drag and drop them on to the path. Here is an image. If you have questions, please post again.

Okay, that made sense.. I'm doing that.. I've run into another issue.. The feature title seems to be truncated after a certain length (see screenshot). The Level 8 Magician - Improved Spell Recovery is getting clipped. 52267

Not really anything I can do about that. There is a finite amount of space. There are a small number that will get truncated on display.

I've been playing around with the SotDL ruleset and overall I quite like it, but i did notice a couple of things, there's no option for Items to be Containers (pg 100 of the most recent rulebook for details) and contain other items and thus reduce overall encumbrance.
Also can you add option (or am I just missing it) so that when you attack with a weapon from the Weapons section you always roll a boon or bane? For example Warriors have Weapons Training and always attack with a boon, it would just be easier if the weapon entry could have banes/boons added to the attack roll I think.

When the goblin swings at Jose( a character) , it calculates whether the goblin hit or not.. But when Jose swings at the goblin.. shows the total, but doesn't state whether it hit or missed.

1. can you confirm the version number?
2. can you try untargeting the goblin and retargeting and re-attacking? For some reason its not seeing the target.
3. then try removing Jose from the CT and add him back in and re-test.

The store version comes with the full rulebook as well. Othwerwise there shouldn't be differences in the ruleset itself. So, in the rulebook we have the paths, professions, spells, etc....

It does lag a few builds behind the official release.
Its completely free but you have to enter your own data.
The catch though is we have several times made UI changes to improve the gameflow based on feedback that has resulted in data changes.
We update the official data to reflect those changes but self entered data has to be updated manually and probably throws some ugly errors when its using old data.
We are in the middle of a large update which will hopefully be the last one that has a major effect on data.
If you are on the fence a suggestion could be:
Buy the store version after the next update. You get to try it for 30days and if its not what you are after you can refund up till your 30days by logging a ticket with support.
Otherwise use the free version - just know after some updates you have to update your data. It can all be updated within the UI but it has to be done manually.

I just submitted a hotfix - it will probably take another half a day to go live as there was a data mismatch. Apologies.
We did just update the theme. Can you share a link to the theme you are referring to?

I tried both the themes found here. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?35056-MoreCore-Themes.
They work for MoreCore but do not show up for the official ruleset. I have noticed that the base theme for the official ruleset is very similar, I just like the full image background of the other themes.
