%e Darkvision spell effect not recognised by lighting effects

Hi All

In tonight's game, a player used the "darkvision" spell to grant his character the Darkvision 60 ft effect.

It placed the effect into the combat tracker, but the token for that character wasn't able to see any change from total darkness.

We overcame this at the time by editing the character sheet and adding "darkvision" to the senses field.

Is there a way to get the spell to work as intended?

You need an effect of VISION: 60 darkvision if you are creating the effect from the actions tab. Set the targeting to self.
