View Full Version : Eyes of Night (from Twilight domain cleric)

Hello all. Just returning to Fantasy Grounds after some time using other VTTs. I'm getting ready to run a game and one of my players has a Twilight Cleric. To simulate the "Eyes of Night" ability, I set up an effect: Darkvision 300.

It works fine on characters without Darkvision, but one of them actually has Darkvision 60 on the character sheet. It seems that my effect can't or won't override that. Is there some other code I can add to it to make it override what's on the character sheet, or is this just the way it is?

Not a huge deal. I can work around it. I just wondered if I'm doing something wrong.

I think you need to use "VISION: 300 darkvision" for an effect, Darkvision 300 is for the character sheet.

I thought the same thing, but I tried another effect (Vision: 120 Darkvision) on the same character and it didn't override his native dark vision.

Scratch that. It works! I had my code rearranged. Thanks, Eru!
