Is there any particular reason "Pathfinder 2 RPG - Fists of the Ruby Phoenix AP 1: Despair on Danger Island" is in the second adventure bundle (all other AP books in first bundle) and "Pathfinder 2 RPG - The Fall of Plaguestone" is in the first adventure bundle (all other one-shots/standalones in the second bundle)?

That's not specific to PF: One important thing to note: When you want to Complete a Bundle or start working to complete a Bundle like Dungeons & Dragons 5e, Devin Night Tokens, Deadlands, Castles & Crusades, etc, we recommend using either Steam or the Fantasy Grounds website to complete the bundle. Unfortunately the two different storefronts cannot communicate with each other to complete a bundle from both stores at once. So stick to either Steam or the Fantasy Grounds website for completing bundles. (https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996639425/Linking+with+External+Services+and+Applications) Though if you email support they may be able to help.

Thank you, good to know and a bit of a letdown. I thought the "Steam Account Synchronization" would take care of that, especially since all my Steam purchases are already listed in your store under "Ordered Items (from FantasyGrounds.com, Steam, drivethrurpg)".

Fortunately I only bought the main license and two adventure path modules via steam and don't plan on buying all adventures at this point. So for the time being it doesn't affect me as much.

Yeah, I used to purchase the dlc through steam as it but have since switched to the website because of the Paizo link. I guess I can't purchase the bundle as there is no way to consolidate these.

Can you add the latest PF2 release from Yesterday to the Adventure Bundle? Fists of the Ruby Phoenix: AP2. Cheers

Can anyone from Smiteworks respond, please? I see the new Bounty module was added yesterday but not the Fists of the Ruby Phoenix AP2 module, even though AP1 is included.

Looks like the SmiteWorks folks are missing this. I've reached out to them to make them aware and ask them to add AP2 to the adventure 2 bundle.

I noticed that the price I pay for a module is not discounted by the bundle offer, if I already own the pdf/module purchased from Paizo. If I buy it first here, then I do.

I think that's how it works since a few months.

Note the last paragraph on the bundle pages:

" If you already own the PDF at Paizo.com and you synced your account, you will get the greater of the PDF discount or the bundle discount on each product you previously owned in PDF."

so it would be cheaper to buy the bundled item first here, and then sync over to Paizo to get the pdf.

The Steam store and Fantasy Grounds store are not linked.

That's a shame as it makes the bundles useless to many of us, I'm for sure not going to buy a bundle for 2 items when I already have 5 on it that I'm not going to pay for again. If only there was a way for Smiteworks to know what we'd already purchased, like, say on our account products owned page?

It appears that Pathfinder Bounty #8: The Tireless Path (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/product.php?id=PZOSMWPZOPFB0008EFG) is missing from Pathfinder 2 RPG Adventures Bundle - Volume 2 (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/productbundle.php?bundleid=PFRPG2ADVENTURESVOL2).

Steam itself has the bundles, and the discount looks similar to me. It can be a bit awkward to find bundles on Steam sometimes. You need to go to one of the items in the bundle, and then scroll down on the sales page to just below "Buy item" and there should be a "Buy Bundle" option which has already discounted any items you already have. For example, the store page for Sundered Waves also has a link to the Adventures Bundle Volume Two.

With the release of Abomination vaults book, the Pathfinder 2 RPG Adventures Bundle - Volume 1 now has Abomination vaults twice. I would not want to pay for that.

We've removed the original three parts from the Volume 1 adventures bundle. They're still available in the store, but are no longer part of a bundle.

But won’t that mean if any further adventure bundle gets added, if I’ve already purchased the 3 separate volumes, I will lose out on any future bundle discount? I certainly don’t want to buy the new version again. Seems a bit unfair.

There aren't any plans to add further adventures to that bundle (volume 1).

Plans seemed to have changed. The new Pathfinder 2 - Kingmaker Companion Guide has been added. How do I get the bundle price, if I already have the other product?

This will require a response from SmiteWorks. The best way to engage them directly is via the support portal: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals

Is the Core Rulebbok all that is needed to have a 1st start with Pathfinder 2e, or any other mandatory sets needed ?

Yes. Plus, if you're the GM you may also want an adventure to run or if you're going to home brew, then you'll probably want the bestiary for a good set of creatures to use.

Or you could try the Beginner Box which is an all in one introduction including an adventure to get you into and playing PF2.

Welcome to the FG forums!

The Pathfinder Second Edition ruleset is included with the license - which is the structure and logic of the system, but no data. The Core Rules are available in the store here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/product.php?id=PZOSMWPZO2101FG

I kind of agree with this statement. It would fit better in the Adventure Bundle that has Stolen Fate as part of it.

To be clear, is the Essentials Bundle a "complete" collection that will not have new items added to it? I feel like that should be made clear on the listing if so. I purchased several items I would not have, if I had known the bundle was no longer active.

As mentioned in another thread, you should buy a bundle for what it contains now; not what may, or may not, be added in the future. I have asked SmiteWorks if they will consider "closing" this bundle and not adding any more products to it - but, as this is a legacy rules bundle, it would be based on there being no more legacy compatible rulebooks released by Paizo. That's a fair assumption, but who knows what might be released by Paizo in the future - if there's a future new legacy rulebook released it would make sense to add it to this bundle. So, if SmiteWorks agree, it could be tentatively considered complete - with the assumption this could change in the unlikely event that Paizo releases further legacy rulebooks.

So what is necessary to play PF2E in Fantasy Grounds. I already have my FG license and tons of books for 5e but my group wants to try out PF2e Do I need the DM Core, Player Core, and Monster Core? If I am homebrewing? Or can I get by with Player Core and Monster Core? or DM Core and Monster Core? Sorry I feel like it is not straightforward what those books give you and what are needed.

You can start with the free modules associated with the ORC'd remastered books (PC/GM Core/Monster Core; there does not yet appear to be an ORC module for the Player Core 2). They don't include non-ORC'd bits like Paizo's art or the various lore blobs, but the records do contain the proper automation. Buying the licenses for the Paizo content will get you all the content.

Monster Core will be useful if you want to homebrew adventures, but it'll be less important if you buy a premade adventure since those should include all the records for the associated monsters.

GM Core is less vital than the Player Core.

For what it's worth, you could also buy the conversion of the Beginner's Box -- it's meant to be self-contained, and includes pregenerated characters.

Thank you very much for responding to me and letting me know what I need to get started. I also picked up Tales of the Valiant but I am waiting on them to finish working on that so I can also try that out with my groups. But I look forward to giving PF2e some play time. I did get a discount from Paizo on buying the rule books for PF on Fantasy Grounds.

It also works in reverse - if you buy a rulebook on FantasyGrounds, you get the PDF from Paizo for free!
