Part of the map on grayscale and part total dark, why?

Why the left part of this maps is on grayscale and the rest of it total dark? How can I setup the map to get totally dark if there is no source of light?

It looks like tokens have moved around on the left hand side. What you are seeing is the Fog of War left by the tokens.
