Installation problem

I bought Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate from steam i downloaded it and got as far as the welcome to Fantasy grounds screen would you like to creataee a Desktop or Start Menu shortcut. I checked them both and hit Finish and nothing happened.

I "X" out of program uninstalled it deleted folder like a post said to do and reinstalled and got as far as same screen the one right after the product key asking to create a desktop or start menu finish still does nothing.

Can someone please help semi-technology challenged lol

The steam program is really just a "fancy" installer. Once installed you ignore the steam launcher and find the shortcut it installed and launch from it. If you run the steam program multiple times it just reinstalls it again...and again....and again.

Yeah this isnt the steam installer its FGU installer, I get past login with name and then add the product key and then the next screen is add a shortcut or desktop icon and the finish button does nothing

If its not creating the shortcuts you might try this:

Right click on your desktop and create a new short cut.
past this in as the path - -"C:\Program Files\SmiteWorks\Fantasy Grounds\FantasyGrounds.exe"
See if that works for you.
