total encumbrance not adding up

so the character´s total encumbrance show 145 and he only have equipment that total weighs 35. so what have i done wrong ?

another question. How do i add the familiar to FGU do i just make a character that i plot in the stats of a Rat ( his choosen familiar) ?

For what ruleset?

We'll need to see an image of the complete inventory to see what's in it so that we have some idea of what might be going on.

An alternative is as you say to create a PC for the NPC.
