Good morning,

I was wondering if there is a way, either through base game functionality or through some mod or extension, make your fog of war more ... foggy.

When my players first load into a battle map, they can only see what their immediate line of sight and lighting allows, and the rest of the map is black. But as they move around the map and discover areas, those discovered areas remain revealed on the map for them under a grey fog of war even after they've moved on to other areas.

Is there a way to make it so that as they explore the map, the areas that they depart from and lose sight of return to being entirely black instead of revealed and greyed over?

Currently not possible.

You can however delete the fog of war history manually by either redropping the tokens from the CT onto the map or right-clicking each token -> reset fog of war.

Or un-sharing the map (to avoid sneak peaks) then quickly disabling and enabling lighting and line of sight before re-sharing it. But all of those are fairly clunky.

When trying to present a dungeon one might run the risk of getting lost and turned around in, it's difficult to capture that when the players have a perfect recall of the areas they've explored thus far.

Indeed it would be, and I added my vote to it :)
