Creating an Aura Effect

I was wondering if it is possible to create an Aura effect that if a spellcaster is in the aura a cast spell auto fails?

No, not in standard FGU. Their is a community extension or two that support Auras in various ways. Check the Forge, the forums and DMsGuild for them. Sorry, I don't use them so don't know the links to them, or just where they are available.
