The Forge & FG Classic

Hi Folks,
A quick couple of questions. When I subscribe to something in the Forge, I'm assuming that this is just updating FG Unity? Thus for those still on FG Classic, the process is manual? Is this the case? If so, some of those authors creating and just updating the Forge would not be reaching FG Classic users and will need to be asked to put the file in the Forum post and the Forge? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!!

The forge is purely for FGU. I would imagine that as time goes on, less and less extension developers will provide support. The base app functionality and API, and ruleset code will start to diverge and it’ll become a big task for a lot of extension developers to maintain two versions. It’s purely up to the individual community developer what they do.

Example
I havent been testing on FGClassic since the start of the year.
Ive put up three new rulesets this year and all of them use FGU only features somewhere in the code.
Classic will get less and less attention over time Im afraid.
