Could someone explain the following message I'm getting in the Chatbox when I click on the spell-list box under a class description;
'Could not open sheet with data from unloaded module 'd20 Spells@d20 Basic Rules'
I am using the d20 ruleset, not a modification.
Thanks

The d20 spell module is not loaded. Go to modules by clicking the one of the buttons in the top right corner and make sure the d20 Spell book is open and loaded.

I've confirmed that the spellbook in the modlue is open.
Anyother ideas?
Thanks

Anyone have another idea as to what may be causing this?

Are you attempting to access this as a player or GM?

As the GM.
Also, I do not have a problem opening the spellbook sperately to view the spell details.

Was the character made under the same ruleset? Did you modifity the spell module? What the error says it through that link (I'm guessing for the character's spellbook or mini list) it can't referance the spell. The *character sheet or mini list* expects what it is linking to to be in a certain order.
Normally you see this error when a player forgets to activate a ruleset module and has a link into the module. If you are the GM then it sounds like you have a mismatch between the source and target of the link. Assuming clicking on something in the character sheet is causing the error the character sheet could be corrupt too.

No character was made.
I simply opened the d20 Basic Rules \ Classes sheet. On that sheet is a "short-cut" (for lack of a better or correct word) that should take you to that class spell list. This is when the 'Could not open sheet with data from unloaded module 'd20 Spells@d20 Basic Rules' appears in the chat window.

Update...,
I couldn't figure out what was wrong, so I re-installed and everything works fine now.
I'm still scratching my head on this...

I thought the problem was resolved by re-installing, but that conclusion was premature..
After re-installing, I ran FG2 and experienced no problem.
I closed the program down and posted a reply to the forum that everything was fine.
I restarted FG2 and BAM...back to the same old error.
Arrgghhh, I'm Charlie Brown.

So you are actually browsing inside the module and click a link and get that error? Is it any link or only a certain one that triggers it every time? If its a certain one let us know how you are getting there and it could be a problem with the module itself.

I can only reproduce this when I start a new campaign and only activate the d20 Basic Book module but not the d20 Spells book module. When I open both modules the link works fine.

Sorry...I haven't been able to post to the forum do to time constraint.
Anyways, all is good.
When I reinstalled FG2 I did so to another directory other than the default. I than ran the .exe from that directory and everything worked fine.
When I ran it again a few minutes latter, I used the short-cut to the original FG (and I believe bugged) .exe
Sorry for the alarm.
