steam store difference in prices comapred to fantasy grounds website

i just saw that the product and modules are way cheaper in steam (at least because they are appearing in my currency, Argentinian pesos).

for example, a D&D module there costs around 2 USD and here they are 30.

i am pretty confused about this difference.

is it the same software and product? or are there any differences?

here i also see there are monthly plans etc.

so i am quite confused about it. thanks!

Yeah it's the same for me. I think that the sale on the site has already finished despite not being July 8th where I'm at (might want to update site yall), and Steam has theirs up for another several hours. iirc they're the same but I don't know if you can track the purchases across from Steam to here and back, so it's hard to tell.

Steam have regional pricing, whereas the FG store is the standard price. So you will see differences between the FG store and Steam pricing if you're not in the USA. The products are the same.

I, too, would like to know if you can buy on Steam to work on an FGU you don't own via Steam - I imagine not.

Great! I've done that now.
I assume I can buy adventures through Steam now and load them separately?

Buy through Steam, link your account and then use FG as normal (i.e. update)
