The module was created in the campaign by exporting some of my own created data.
Now I would like to update the module with some new data.
(I often add some things on the fly when we are playing. Afterwards it needs to be saved in the correct module).

Exporting the new data will result in a module with only the new data in it.
All the old data will be lost.

To update an existing module (own created), can that only be made in these two ways?
Or is there a way to append items to a module?

1) Drag all old and new items to the export window.
(a lot of searching and easy to forget a few items and it has to be done every time)

2) Create an empty campaign and load the module there.
Copy all the items to that campaign.
Unload the module.
Now there is a campaign with all the module items and no other items that does not belong to the actual module.
The new items that were created while gaming can be exported to a temporary module and loaded into the dedicated module campaign.
Reexport.

That is why it's important to use development campaigns for your modules if you wish to keep expanding it. The appending the data and a new export would be much easier to perform with all the data in the module. If that is not available, then a new campaign would need to be set up get all the data in the same module. So (2) would be the only case if the campaign is not available.

Make a copy of your existing campaign, and then load up that copy. Load up that copied campaign as a module making campaign and delete the "stuff" you don't want to be in a module. Then edit, add, etc. data that is needed in your module - and then export the module as needed.
