Is it possible to extract a single server character and email it to a player so that they can make it a local character? Hopefully that makes sense.

Cheers.

You should be able to open up the db.xlm file, find the character in it, copy and paste it into an email and send it.

I player would have to then open up the right file (not sure which one... anyone?) and copy and paste the xml data into it.

Hey John,

The simplest way is for them to log in a screen cap the various pages of the the character. Then they can fill out the local character from the jpgs.

If you go the way of sending the db.xml file. Unless the other chars in there are very private, I'd rename the file db.xml.John or something and send the whole thing. Someone might be able to tell the limits and form of the character sheet but you might learn more letting the person pull whatever they need and reporting what they used at the end.
