I don't know if this topic has been discussed already. If so, forgive my laziness in digging in the forum!

I would like to understand if it is possible to create multiple combat trackers. The reason why is because my party (I am the GM) is splitted in two and - for several reasons - we are playing different parallel adventures. I like to play a bit with one sub group and a bit with the other, running crossed scenes. If it sounds weird, please note we are playing at DCC, so each player has (multiple) characters in both sub groups.

However, the nasty part is that I have to clean the combat tracker when switching from one sub group to the other, and it's not too nice.

Thanks for your feedback

Check out Combat Groups Extension from DMsGuild. It works great for that kind of stuff.

Without an extension this isn't possible. It would take quite a bit of work I think to create a second combat tracker. I believe that some rulesets - like Savage Worlds do havetwo CT's but that's for different types of combat such as vehicles or spaceship. I'm not aware of anything similar for the DCC ruleset.

Does that extension come recommended by anyone that's using it?

Like the OP, I have my players jumping back and forth between different groups of NPCs in very different locations and was just making do with having a Combat Tracker fully loaded.

I use it all the time. That is why I recommended it as I have used it to do exactly what the OP wanted to do.

I am also using Combat Groups and it has worked well for me so far :)

Thanks for the advice!

Does it work for any system or D&D only??

Think that's D&D only.
