Hi, I am not sure if I post this is in the correct place, but this is not a game-spesific question, but a technical questing in FGU. I've read some places that you could create "portals" in FGU using the LoS-tool. I cannot for the life of me figure out how that is supposed to work. Does something like this actually exists, or is it overly creative people who have found a work-around?

For context: I am creating a sort of magical maze where each area (surrounded by impenetrable forest (magical - of course) is seperate. In each area there are several portals, some working, and some destroyed, most color-coded. My players receive a poem and need to figure out the hints to figure out the path through the maze. Each of these areas are surrounded with LoS-walls, making it impossible for them to move out of the area. I need to manually take them out of the map and reset their tokens on the map every time they move areas. This seems like a very cumbersome way of doing this - so naturally a "portal" that can take them from area 1 to area 8 for example by just moving through a portal would be awesome... - no, the areas is not next to eachother, so it won't work with doors, secret doors or something like that.

Thanks

Hold SHIFT whilst moving the token (as DM) and you can move it to another part of the map without revealing anything between the two points.

There is a paid for extension on the DMsGuild that does magical portals. Maybe it is what you have heard talked about?
