Volo's Guide - Maps

Howdy,

New-ish to FGU (havne't started my campaign yet). I purchased the Volo's Guide to Monsters module and after loading successfully I can view all the content. However, when I go to Images and filter on the Maps I can load the Volo's maps but they are all Read Only....meaning I can't used lighting, grids or line of sight.

Now I CAN go into my Assets folder and load the png/jpg from there and create a battle map. But before I begin the long process of adding my walls etc for line of sight, I am wondering if the Read Only images already gridded and have line of site and if they do how do I Unlock them from being Read Only?

If they're not already formatted then I'll start working on my own. Since I've already purchased the module I can't figure out why the maps are Read Only.

Any help would be appriciated.

Did you load the module "D&D Volo's Guide to Monsters - Maps"? (not the one without the "Maps" in the name)
I had no problem loading that module, opening one f the maps "Kobold-Lair-DM" and unlocking it. Or opening and unlocking "Kobold-Lair-Players".

First off...thanks for the reply. I checked again and made sure I had the module loaded correctly. Based on your reply however, I tried loading the maps from the Library window instead of the Images window and was able to unlock the image. At least now I know that those particular maps don't already have LOS built in so I won't be duplicating efforts. :) Thanks!
