setting color (colour) of a TextWidget

I'm re-attempting my SLA Ruleset and would like to know how to set the colour of a TextWidget?

Do you mean modifying the color of the text itself?

You can't really do this without declaring a new font with the new color you want to use. As far as I know, the fonts can't be created at runtime but its easy to modify as the color tag changes the RGB value of the font. Just look in the bmpfonts.xml file.
