Is there way to bring back the regular Circle/Square/Cone pointers in addition to the Savage World templates?

We found out that often we use those pointers to mark locations on the maps and the blast templates are of no use.

You can use the free-style shapes with mouse/key combinations.

From the FGU wiki (https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/1275232424/Common+Shortcuts+Hotkeys):

Arrow - Hold [Both mouse buttons] to quickly draw an arrow on the map.
Box - Hold [Shift] + [Both mouse buttons] to draw a box on the map.
Circle - Hold [CTRL] +[Both mouse buttons] to draw a circle on the map.
Cone - Hold [Alt] + [Both mouse buttons] to draw a box on the map.
Remove Shape - Click [Both mouse buttons] and release them to remove the shape you just created.

Oh, yes, this helps a lot! I thought because they were removed from the context menu the functionality is disabled altogether.

Now, the problem is that pointers created by the shortcuts are limited to single type and if I try to create two squares, the first one disappears. :( But it is good start.

If its something you want to keep highlighted, you can just draw it. Open the draw tools and click on the paintbrush. You do not have to drop anything in there (it defaults to a pen with black color) and you can change the color. Then delete or change the visibility.
