Preferably low starting level 1-3, just please don't force me into a role.

I would be interested as well. Im Central Standard Time as well. Played a bit when I was a kid, played around through my mid 20's but didn't really get into it a couple years ago. 47 now, I am DM'ing a game currently in CoS 5E, but I'd really like to play a character and listen to maybe take away some tips or ideas from another DM. I still need to get up to speed on the fantasy grounds software and if anyone has access to a digital copy of the 5E PH, MM, and DMG that they might be willing to link me all of my sourcebook material is from PF 1E ruleset.

I'm trying to design a campaign setting of my own. I want to give players 100% agency in the game world. I'm attempting to write out a shitload of content and then my plan is to drop the PCs down into the world and tell them they have free reign to do whatever they want. Essentially a holodeck of real life. You can go where ever you please and do whatever you want. No restrictions past existing in the world. Even though their will be factions and other npcs the players will have the ability to interact with I'm going for a campaign that is entirely player motivated, meaning its derived from your PC backstories and what motivates your characters on a personal level. The environment might get in the way of goals but the goals are still generated by the PCs and what motivates them.
