How do I add resistance to non magical weapon attacks to a PC?

I am trying to figure out how I add resistance to all non magical damage to a PC. The PC is a level 16 Oathbreaker anti-Paladin and has the ability "Supernatural Resistance". So far I've tried adding it to his special defenses but that doesn't seem to help. I also tried to create an effect that is Resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical weapons, but I can only get it to work for all attacks.

RESIST: bludgeoning, piercing, slashing, !magic should do the trick.
