It is possible to change the defaults for TOKEN vision. IE. darkvision, blindsight, and truesight for the entire map. So we add an a new npc or player I do not have to set them individually? Example we like the darkvision near set to 0 and far set to 60. How can I make that permanent?

No, that is not currently supported. You can add to the wish list in my signature.
