Details of your scenario: Tharizdun, the Chained God, threatens to escape the prison the gods locked him in thousands of years ago. Every couple of centuries, the bonds loosen and woes visit the world. A dedicated group of mortal champions rises to challenge Tharizdun’s return. The champions seek to assemble a full set of Rings of Elemental Command to challenge the Princes of Elemental Evil. They also look to gather the Weapons of Might, five artifacts of immense power, to perhaps fight Tharizdun itself. Location is the World of Greyhawk, originally Ghosts of Saltmarsh, but progress has included the Slavers Series and now Against the Giants seeking the next Weapon and the Ring of Air Elemental Command. Get used to a lot of dice flying around as the characters that have their Weapons can mete out over 100 HP of damage per round. As the world is beset by evils near and far, it’s a race to assemble the items and keep Tharizdun from breaking free. Interested? Message and let's talk.

Interesting. My best friend and I looking for a higher level game. He plays rangers. I play Wizards (that happen to focus on control). Sundays also work for us. A perfect fit, perhaps?
