I bought myself Sidewinder: Recoiled, a wild west modification of the D20 modern rules, and I have some content to base adventures on.

What I do want to know however, is if anybody would be interested in joining up? Only basic knowledge of the D20 modern rules would be required, and I could provide everything rule-wise that has changed for this setting.

Well, I'm busy creating a campaign and interesting pick-up-and-play characters with a backstory. It might still take a few weeks before it's ready for play though.

Well, characters and background story are finished. What do you think?

Joanna: (charismatic hero 2, diplomatic oriented, as well as able to
make money with her singing skills)

Joanna is a star. Well, not so anymore, but she has been a singer in
a saloon for 4 years. She left home at age 18 to the city of Austin,
Texas. There she found work as a singer, which she has done untill
that unfortunate event.
One day two drunken assholes were making a bit to "progressive"
advances on her, and she was forced to defend herself. One of the men
got killed, the other badly wounded. While the sherrif ruled it was
self defence, and she wouldn't be prosecuted, she chose to leave
anyway. Fearfull of revenge by family members or friends of the
victim, she hired 2 men for her journey back home, promising 20
dollars to each of them. These two men were called River Fingers, and
Alejandro Gonzalez.
on the way towards her home they also met with Leyton Porter, and
with Ama Moonflower

River Fingers: (fast hero 2, gunslinger of the party, as well as the
demolition man, and mechanical construction man)

River is a treasure seeker. For almost a year has he been sifting for
gold in the many streams of the frontier. He finally has given up on
this kind of work, after only uncovering a few grains of gold in all
this time.
He's looking for work now, and just got an easy enough looking escort
job. Escorting a nice young gal named Joanna.

Alejandro Gonzalez: (tough hero 2, brawler, and shotgun badass, also
the lockpicker, of the party)

Alejandro is a man in trouble. Following a few killings and robberies
down back in Mexico he's been forced to flee across the border to
avoid any short term bushwhacking. Always weary of persons he meets,
he also needs some kind of work to do. Seems a pretty lady is looking
for some protection on her way home. That's a start of building up a
new life here.

Leyton Porter: (Fast hero 2, Sneaky guy of the party, sniper,
downright survivalist, acrobatic and quick with his hands)

Leyton is just a teenager. A year ago, his mother and father died of
smallpox, and he's been forced to make himself a living by hunting
for food. One day a soman and a few men passed by. They spotted him
sooner than he did them, becasue he was daydreaming. Luckely, the
woman seemed to be a nice person. She asked him what he was doing out
in the wilderness by his lonesome. She actually managed to haul his
entire life story out of him. Subsequently, she offered him to come
with her, to her home. They could use such a boy like him back at her
parent's farm.

Ama Moonflower: (dedicated hero 2, Doctor & navigator of the party,
indian heritage)

The party encountered Ama further on the trail. Suddenly they heared
screaming, and soon enough, they saw 3 men surrounding this Indian
woman, beating her, and trying to pull of her clothes. Leyton didn't
hesitate, and shot one of the villains in the leg, while the others
held them at gunpoint. They realized soon enough to turn and flee,
lest they'd be planted along the roadside...
The woman thanked the party about thousand times, and reluctantly
asked if she could travel with them for a while. She's had trouble
before, and has nowhere else to go, after an army raid at her indian
camp exterminated almost the entire populace. Joanna agreed, and so
they went on.

Not to be hateful, or anything, but it'd be nice if you stood behind previous commitments. Finish one game before you start another. Responsibility to players and all that. Wish you the best, regardless.
