Anyone else having an issue in 4.1.3 where doors are functional for players (able to see and click to open), but not for the GM?

I am using LoS and Lighting for the first time in FGU (v 4.1.3), but am having issues trying to find out how to view the state of the door and toggle it open/closed on my GM screen. It works fine for players, but there is no blue highlight, or status indicator when I hover over the doors on my GM screen. I thought it might be a mode setting, but I am in 'Default Play' mode on the map in question.

I am using 5e ruleset, and only have the ACE extension enabled. Am I the only one seeing this behavior?

I have not in my 5e/PF2/etc. games. Is this with an official module/dlc map or one you created? I don't use that extension, have you tried without it enabled?

It is a custom map I have designed using external tools, and imported into FGU.

I did try disabling the ACE extension, and it had no effect.

I also tried to add a new door without the extension enabled, and it also still does not highlight when I hover over it in the GM screen in 'Default Play' mode.

Now wondering if it might have anything to do with the campaign being one that was copied over from FGC.

I'll have to try a new campaign and see if I can recreate the issue.

Do you have a module/dlc map you can try to see if it is that campaign/module? My only other thought is to email the campaign to FG support to see if they see anything, but that is a last step.

I just created a blank new 5e campaign, and imported the image file as the only image.

Added a couple of doors, using both rectangle and line (closed box) options.

Still experiencing the same behavior. After switching back to 'Default Play' mode, there are no indications there are doors. Nothing appears when I hover over them. No functionality appears to trigger when I click or shift-click on them. No way to tell if they are open or closed. Still need to see if the fresh campaign works for a client on the same version (original campaign, doors worked for player on a v 4.1.2 client).

When you do terrain, do you have the same issue? I created a new 5e campaign and was not able to recreate this issue with no extensions. I'm wondering if there is an older ruleset or something in your install. Hopefully one of the other troubleshooters will have another idea!

Have you added at least one token to the map and enabled Line-of-sight for the map? You can't interact with doors until those two things have been done (and you're in play mode too).

If you've done this, and it still doesn't work, please upload a screenshot of the image in edit mode (showing the play mode image sidebar settings).

Ahhh... adding a token to the map! That may be a key factor. Obviously, I had one when I tested the original campaign for the player view, but I was not thinking of that as a factor, and probably did a few tests without a token on the map. Let me give that a try and see if I get any better results.

Thanks Trenloe.... it's a good thought even if it isn't the answer!

Yeap! That was it! I needed a token on my map for that functionality to be enabled.

Thanks for the fix Trenloe!!!

Great! There's lots of moving parts. Glad you got it working. :)
