syrinscape in fantasy grounds

How do I get it so my players can hear syrinscape in FGU. I've had them download it and join me, but they still cannot hear it

You can't hear syrinscape "in" FGU - you just run the Syrinscape Online Player as a separate app.

I assume you made them download the Syrinscape Online (https://syrinscape.com/online/) player, not the offline Syrinscape Fantasy player, am I correct?
Here's the setup I use, which is basically what the instructions in the Syrinscape Online page say:
Each one of my players launches FGU and joins my game;
then each one of my players launches Syrinscape Online, and logs in with their Syrinscape account;
if I have new players, or if it's the first time they join my campaign, I go to Syrinscape control panel (https://syrinscape.com/online/cp/), copy the invitation link and pass it to the new players, so they can join my sound campaign;
Then, I open the Syrinscape master interface (https://syrinscape.com/online/master/) on a browser and use that to start the various sounds during the game.

That's it - basically, treat Syrinscape Online and FGU as separate applications, as you would normally, since at the moment FGU does not have a sounds management feature.

If you use Discord for in-game chat, pushing Syrinscape through a Discord bot works really well for me. My players don't have to run any extra software and the sound is great.

Your mileage may vary, but I'm convinced.

While Syrinscape is still a separate application, there is now an interface in FG for playing via the Web Player.
