okay, i want to make a Star Wars D20 ruleset, and I have no clue as to how I use XML. Think perhaps someone can point me to a tutorial or something?

You might want to check out this thread (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6645) for other activity on rulesets, I know that mearrin69 is working on Star Wars Saga Edition, and you can see the work in progress here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6716).

If you're keen to dabble, you should probably get a copy of the Lua programming language manual (https://www.lua.org/manual/), and bookmark SmiteWorks' scripting reference (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/refdoc/) and modification guide (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/modguide/).

For an intro to XML, I'm stuck for pointers I'm afraid. Anyone else know a good resource?

Well, I was trying to dabble around, and the most i can figure out is text, soooo.....no. What I need is a ruleset for Star Wars RPG Revised Edition, considering I ENORMOUSLY dislike Saga Edition.
