Unsure if this has been suggested before but when it comes to dynamic LOS, it'd be nice if there was a wall-type similar to the inverse of a pit, i.e you can see past ALL obstructions when you are inside the bounds of the walls. Might be useful for simulating high-ground without having to create huge pits that span entire maps. Perhaps this could be an option for the "terrain" wall-type?

Just random thoughts I have after waking up.

It's been discussed. I think their is a suggestion on the wish list for it.

I hadn't even realised I wanted this until you mentioned it.

I have been trying many different ways to make this work. I agree it would be great to have. Indoors this is a problem with characters at the foot of the stairs should not see above them and those characters at the top should be able to see farther down.

I had a suspicion it might have been.

Perhaps a way to designate how high a terrain barrier is in feet? So that when you're within bounds, you can see through barriers that are lower.
That'd be ideal, but i'm not sure how feasible that would be...
