Hi,

I noticed as you drag a ship token around on a space map the player and host do not show the token moving... only when you let go do they sync up..

On a normal map as you drag a token around on the player side, you can see it move on the gm side in real time...

If you drag a 'player' token onto the space map, it does like the ship tokens, it only updates 'once' after the drop, not real time.

I dont know if this is to do with the new changes from tokens that caused the 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 updates, which have a lot of token release notes.

I dont know what is specific about the space map, if you take the FG battle maps, and swap the grid type to the space grid this drags around in real time as expected.

I was testing in 'dead suns 1' map:space.., I have no idea what is 'special' about the space map to cause this. ( I can not get a this map into a different rule set to check for rule set specific. )

Just checked the 'dev' build and this still does the same thing... 'new' campaign SF ruleset, add dead suns 1, create a player assign token and to combat tracker.. drop token on a 'normal' map see player/host move token in real time reflected on host/player, drop token onto 'map:space' see token now only updates when the move has finished. ( Not using lock token, so player should be able to move etc.. )

( I messaged superteddy57, and he suggested I should post to the unity forum not the SF ruleset, due to all the recent token changes to the core system. )

I just did some rough testing. It looks like if the lighting/line-of-sight toggles are both off, then token updates are not being sent mid-mouse-move. I'm not sure why; so I've filed a ticket to investigate.

To workaround, you could turn on lighting for the map and add ambient Sunlight, if you really need to see the movement while we investigate.

Thanks JPG for looking into this and finding a work around until it gets fixed.

I had a similar issue last night - 2 of my 5 players' tokens would not show their token move on the players end after I approved the movement. The movement was happening on the DMs end. This happened for the whole session - only affected 2 of 5 players... One of these players (dwarf with darkvision) also could see through the line of sight if lighting was turned on. The other players with darkvision could not see through the walls...

We have a change coming for token movement updates while lighting/LoS toggles are off. Any other reports should go in a new thread please, along with details to recreate.

Thanks,
JPG

Is this available in 'dev' yet ? ( Or are they still been 'worked' on, so 'dev' will see more changes/fixes while the code gets its fixes ? )

Thanks, Pete
