Update box stays red

Hey all! My friend updates his FGU on Mac, but the update finishes and the update button is still red. Happened last week. I thought that it was a one time bug. How do I fix this? Mackbook Air 11.3.1
I am at a loss.

How many times did they try to update? It's possible it didn't finish, your timing was such that an update occurred while they were updating, or it was just a glitch.

How many items does your friend have in the FG Store? There was/is an issue that the check times out if the person own a lot of content, and therefore it stays red.

It's also possible their security software is interfering with contacting the update server and therefore is leaving the update indicator "on" to be conservative.

Thank you for answering. :) He called me thins morning and he says that the update is no longer red. So we'll see. :)

I had same issue on a players new Mac DEMO install. Hopefully it will go away too. Have a game tonight so will know then.
