View Full Version : Mask - Cant move tokens from unmasked to masked side

Since the new update I cannot move tokens from masked to unmasked on battlemaps, and tokens keep getting stuck and cannot move when there seems to be no walls. This happened even when I deleted all walls from the map.

This was all with LOS and Lighting turned off on the map.

It made the game nearly unplayable.

Anyone else seen this? Or no how to resolve?

Are you the GM? What Ruleset? Can you reproduce with no extensions? Are you holding CTRL (or Shift) while moving the token (read the release notes, this behavior has changed). Can you include screenshots?

I had this problem too.

Why do they think its a good idea to intentionally lock movement between mask and unmask and require a shift to make that work? What was the reason for that? its utterly un-intuitive.

Because that's the point of adding a mask. It's basically the same as line of sight - it blocks vision and movement.

When you are in a masked section you are basically out of the play zone.
